Introduction to Endoscopy Course
Facilitator Dr Judy Huang, Gastroenterologist at Middlemore Hospital, held another well received informative Introduction to Endoscopy Course on 21 February.
Trainees from both RACS and RACP attended the day and gave excellent feedback with everyone saying they felt ready to scope!
A special thank you to the gastroenterology team at Middlemore who ran on the unit short staffed as five Middlemore SMOs helped out on the day due to last minute emergencies and apologies from some scheduled facilitators.
Dr Huang also added a session on endoscopy sedation given by Dr Amanda Dalton. This was very well received and practical. It is a session that will be added to future courses.
