Gut Foundation encourages you to Talk sh*t. Save lives.
Here's why it matters. Your gut is doing a lot more than just digesting your lunch. It influences your mood, immunity, and long-term wellbeing. Bowel cancer kills over 1,200 Kiwis a year, yet it's highly survivable when caught early. But research shows we'd rather suffer in silence than say the word "poo" out loud. That silence has a cost.
Gut Check is bold and a bit cheeky on purpose, to grab attention and get people talking. The campaign gives Kiwis plain-language info to better understand their gut, spot what's not normal, and know when to see a GP.
Visit [gutcheck.co.nz], then start the conversation that actually matters. Talk to your whānau, your mates, your coworkers. Every chat is a chance to save a life.
