Olympus Travelling Fellowship
THE OLYMPUS NEW ZEALAND LTD TRAVELLING FELLOWSHIP
This award is to be used to finance attendance at an international meeting in Medical or Surgical Gastroenterology of the applicant’s choice.
The successful applicant will receive an award from Olympus NZ Ltd for the amount of $6000.
THE RECIPIENT:
1. Shall be an active Member of the Society.
2. Be in active endoscopy practice.
3. Preferably shall be a younger Member.
4. Shall produce a written report for the Society and Olympus New Zealand Ltd (for inclusion in the Newsletter).
5. Shall report to the Society at its next Meeting in the form of an update.
6. The Recipient shall provide the Executive with an application outlining how the Fellowship shall provide benefit to his/her gastroenterological practice (medical or surgical) and how this will also be communicated to other Members of the local Gastroenterological community.
7. The Fellowship shall be advertised in the Newsletter or by a mailout to all Society Members with a closing date one month later.
8. The Executive will determine the Recipient of the Fellowship within 2 weeks and inform all applicants of the result.
