Membership
Who can apply for membership?
Registered medical practitioners or scientists with a particular interest in the science, study and practice of gastroenterology.
Applications must be proposed and seconded by two members of the Society and be approved by the Executive.

Scientists and trainees can apply to the Secretariat to have a reduced annual subscription fee.
Honorary Membership:
Honorary Members are those distinguished in the field of gastroenterology who have made material contributions to the advancement of this subject or former Ordinary Members of at least 10 years standing who have retired from active professional practice. List of Honorary Members
Changes to Membership:
Members of the Society should notify the society of their address or any change of address and any additional academic qualifications or distinctions.
